Is Joker Phillips resigning? Is his job secure beyond this season no matter the outcome? The internet was all abuzz today with different answers to these questions. The real question , however , is who is right?
Matt Jones and KSR reported on a story from BleedBlueKentucky.com in which Joker Phillips was told by Mitch Barnhart that his job at Kentucky was finished. It went on to say that a Joker Phillips resignation announcement would be coming soon. Like a lot of rumors, this story quickly got shot down when a source close to the program said that the report was 100 % false.
One thing is certain. Until an official announcement from UK, Kentucky blogs(including mine) will be filled with speculation and rumor about the future of the football program and UK. Remember this, a rumor is just a rumor.
