Marcus Lee Wants to Break the Kentucky Shot Blocking Record

In high school, Marcus Lee is a shot blocking phenom.  He averaged 9.1 blocks per game during his junior season.  That is not a typo!  During an interview with Rivals, Marcus’ brother revealed that Marcus had the goal of beating the shot blocking record at the University of Kentucky.  That is what I like to hear.  As of now, Anthony Davis holds the single season record with 186.  Jamal Magloire is the career record holder with 268.

“His goal is to break the shot-blocking record at Kentucky, which sounds ridiculous to say, but that’s his goal”
